Picked up the new project car from Slowhawk
First off I want to thank Don and his side kick (don't remember his name) for getting my car road worthy.
Some of you might know the whole story but the short version is I picked up a 2000 Trans Am for a decent price, but it had some issues. I dropped it off at Don's right after i bought it.
Immediately he found out it needs a new clutch, so I had him install a brand new monster clutch and billet flywheel.
Car was bone stock so I found a local member who was selling a Whisper Lid, had that installed including a LS6 intake that came with my 98 car.
After digging through the car, they found a bunch of wiring issues and grounds missing. All good now
I decided to throw on the billet specialties wheels i got from my 98 T/A, car looks pretty sweet
All in all what i thought were headaches was no big deal for Don and in the end the car runs great. I can't thank Don enough for everything he did for me to help get this car up to par.
Future mods, who knows. I'd like to build a 275 radial car, but not sure I want to go down that road again. Maybe just build a 1000 HP street car with a 4L80E and be done with it.
Thanks again Don!
Marco

I would love to get Don's hood but I believe he is keeping it now.
I'm still owed a hood from my 98 T/A deal so i'll keep holding my breath lol
