Thumbs up Got to play with some of my new detailing toys

Recently I got my large order of Meguiar Products.

Most of these items you can get online only. More reviews to come but this one was one of the most important products I needed for interiors and stains removal.

Meguair's All Purpose Cleaner Plus (APC+)

Using Filtered Water I ratio the mixture 4:1 for Heavy Duty Cleaning. Thankfully the designated bottles have the Ratio Hash marks on them.

The solution has a delightful orange smell as well.

I beat the rug against a wall to knock loose dirt, dry brush, vacuumed. Then I micro waved up some water. From there I sprayed down the carpet, let sit, and then brushed with the hot water. Blotted and scrubbed with a clean Terry Cloth towel.

I did not need an extractor but if I did a large scale project, for speed I will be using it, especially on customer cars.

The pics show the transitions. I did not think the beginning one did not look too bad but OMG the camera does not lie eh.

I think that is just a shadow, I have some meguiars apc. I will have to give it a shot on some carpets. Did you spray, scrub and then wet vac it out?

Its the shadow, I see what you mean though, Once fully dried looks brand new. The "Century" stitching is as light as the carpet.

As the floor mat as try, I sprayed liberally the APC+ and as it sat for a minute or two while I got the water it already looked lighter. The dipped the brush in water and in a fluid motion I went up and down repeatedly.

Once done I dry blotted with the clean terry cloth until it was basically dry. No shop vac. I do have a Bissel Little Green Machine and I will use that for extraction next time.

The photo was a Black Berry Cellphone btw.

APC+ is good stuff, so good I picked up a 5 gallon of it. Normally I just buy chemicals by the gallon.

Good stuff, lots of people would just replace it. I hate doing interiors I'd rather gloss paint for 8hrs than scrub carpet for 1. I might have to give that stuff a shot. good job.

I hear you on that. I am not looking forward to my wife's car, but its something that needs to be done.

Any car I buy will have a dark interior, thats for damn sure.

The Buick and T/A have REALLY close interior colors so yea, it sucks. The wife's car has a light grey gut. My mother in law's Fusion which she just sold had a Black Gut and Black Leather/Vinyl and it was REALLY easy to make it look good.

I think tommorrow I'll snag her car so I can work on it. I have a big post to make about it. BUT I will say one floor mat, I pulled out at least 8 oz. of BLACK water.....
