Default new toy: 03 GP1300R

picked it up last sunday. what a upgrade from our old 98 GP1200. (which was a great ski) this thing is a different world. acts like my honda does with 2 people on it. Doesnt try to flip at low speeds. acts very well in rough water and HOLY HELL 74mph (non gps) on the water. the ski I got a great deal on and here is a quick list of the mods

basically a complete RIVA stage 2 (minus heads)

riva pump seal kis
rivagp1300r top loader intake grate
riva free flow exhaust kit
riva Cat removed (dplate) and chip
riva pro series EFI controller
Riva power filter flame arrestor
Solas impeller 14/20
ride plate re-enforcement
hydroturff mats

both throttle and pump re-enforcement recalls done.

pics:

also came with a brand new work stand to make life a lot easier in the garage. im very happy... oh and it has 41 hours on it

nice, i had a twin to it I sold last year. You won't see 74 on a GPS but you should see anywhere from 63-66. Maybe 68 on a good day. The 04+'s seemed to go a little faster by a mile an hour or two. I hit a best of 64 on mine. I had the D-pllate but never installed it and the stock impeller. I put on a JetTrim seat cover which is a lot nicer than stock. They are real nice ski's. The only thing i didn't like about mine was everytime someonr rode it they always crashed into the dock or boat they were pulling up to since it didn't have reverse or a way to stop the propulsion besides shutting it off.
