Ethanol free gas Central PA? Anywhere?
Reider's Service Station in Elizabethtown on Route 230 had Ethanol free gas up until last October. I found they have a Facebook page and it says they were forced to get rid of it and must buy ethanol. I guess the federal ******* government has mandated it. So is it even possible to find ethanol free gas any more?

Probably very difficult. I believe it must contain x% of ethanol now.
It'd be a bit risky and I don't know much about it, but try some farmers. They Get discounted gas that is supposedly a lot different from main stream gas. Not sure if it'll damage anything, but I've got a buddy out in Carlisle that uses it daily in his f150.

Rt 22, Harrisburg....off 83 go past the colonial park mall. There's some kind of no-name gas station (GAS USA) across from ElRodeo that sells ethanol free. It is quite expensive though I noticed....but maybe the mpg gains would be worth it

Nope, the Reider's Service Station I mentioned is actually a Shell, and they no longer sell ethanol free gas.
It turns out the refiners are no longer making ethanol free gas because of regulations, so it's impossible for gas stations to buy it from anywhere. So it's basically going to be impossible soon.
Yeah I saw that on the map. Problem is I'm rarely up there and I doubt they will have it much longer since refiners aren't making it any more.

There was a place in Millersville that used to advertise it but they don't anymore. Honestly I didn't notice much of a difference in gas mileage or drive-ability when I used it.

If they aren't using ethanol to boost the octane, what are they using?
MTBE is illegal now.
