I dont know... I still like the idea of changing the turbo and taking some strain off the motor and running X275 and kicking ***.

I'm more pi$$ed about the power wheelie than anything....It was on an epic pass that saturday night that would've made all of this work worth it...

most likely would've been 7.30s or better

he's 100% right. as I found out...just the slightest thing can go bad in a hurry when you're cramming 40psi though the motor so much more control with a dizzy....which can only send power to the plugs when its in phase. an individual coil theoretically could fire at any time

it literally tried to send the heads into orbit

So instead of the heads lifting, the extra bolts held it down and the heads bore the brunt of the power. Still sucks but at least you will be closer to your goal next season.

doubt it'll be next season...can only afford so many of these catastrophic failures

So bottom line whats the good bad and ugly of the situation with the car? Do I have to change my sig now. I was hoping to get that run in...

good#1 is there is still pistons in the shortblock
good#2 is that I ran a new best
bad#1 is heads are trashed
bad#2 is that I would've destroyed my new best had I not power wheelied
ugly is I'm undecided if I want to do anything at this point.
