Just spend the money and get them nicely done at a restaurant! I'm telling you, go to Hard Times, get the poppers with some of their grilled wings and chili --

Jalapeno poppers? ****'s weak. Take it to the next level - make some ABTs (Atomic Buffalo Turds).

Get some jalapenos (or habaneros if you're brave), cream cheese, shredded cheddar/monterey jack cheese, cocktail franks, bacon, BBQ sauce, and seasonings of your choice (I use cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder).

Cut the peppers in half, and remove the seeds and membranes inside. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar/monterey Jack, and seasonings in a plastic sandwich bag. Cut one of the corners off the bag, and squeeze the mixture into each pepper half.

Put the BBQ sauce of your choice in a bowl, dip the cocktail franks in the BBQ sauce, and put them into the pepper halves. Wrap the peppers in bacon, and stick a toothpick through each one to keep the bacon in place. Put them on the grill, or a BBQ smoker if you have one. On the grill, cook them until the bacon is fully cooked. On a BBQ smoker, this will take about 2 hours, and the smoke will add a nice flavor.

Get fresh peppers, cut and pull the seeds out. Mix whipped cream cheese with a packet of hidden valley ranch dressing. Stuff the pepper, wrap in bacon(then put a toothpick through to hold it) and throw them on the grill. Right ebfore you pull them off throw some shredded cheddar cheese on top.

AMAZING!! However, everyhig they serve is awesome. Top three favorite places to eat. Not to mention good military discount. If you have never been, I highly recommend going. That for an appetizer and a nice steak, yes please!!!

Sonic has the poppers as well, they are pretty good. Same price as cheese sticks iirc.

Sonic is 45 min away also hahaha. It's crazy because I don't live in a small town. There's like 32,000 here not including the 25% illegals

Thats what I was going to mention too. They are really good and most grocery stores have them in the frozen food section.
