Thumbs up Justice for the Vikings and Brett Farve

I made this post a few years ago after a insane game where the Vikes got screwed out of the Superbowl and basically what amounted to a public execution of Brett Farve.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/eastern-m...uper-bowl.html

Everyone knew something was going on but at least this is coming to light and I cannot wait for Brees to tell Mickey Loomis and/or Sean Payton to go "F" themselves and go to a different team since he was commented about being very good, but not "great"

Some good football fallout dealing with the "Bounty" Scandal.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...sct=nfl_t11_a0

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...sct=nfl_t11_a1

Now there are other teams out there doing this, and I am sure the vikes at one point are not innocent but we will see how it comes out in the wash. Penalties to be handed out by March 25th.

Don't matter much to me. Very interesting given the situation in 2009.

For you mike, I have only one question.

"Are you talking?"

It's..........Football. If you don't want to get hurt, don't play.

I guess the bounties didn't work to well. I don't remember seeing many, if any players "carted off" the field because of the Saints Defense.

In this case I certainly had a dog in this fight. If you did not watch it, and being 3 years ago, you would have to re watch it. PLENTY of no calls.

Thats why i linked my original post. Has tons of back info.

This is Spy'gate times 10 at minimum. MANY legal issues due to past players starting lawsuits due to permenant injuries that can be argued that it could have been intentional.

Look further back to the days where there were bounties on Troy Aikman's legs, that was when I was a teenager but talk to can Cowboys fans, they can recall a few stories.

This is going to have large sweeping fundemental changes from pee wee up to the NFL which has generations ideology that needs to be changed. The days of Lawrence Taylor are going to be over as we know it.

If anyone was old enough remembers the backlash of the movie, "The Program" its a movie but the ideology of what could happen or what may have happened at the college level.

Gregg Williams will be out of the game. I expect at least 1 year. Def taints the Saint's story book win and IMO, I am not crying.

Damn. I remember watching that Saints /Vikings game and wondering what the hell was going on. They were laying Favre out play after play...and there were VERY dirty hits..

Agreed.

Just sucks that the dirt bag Saints got a ring, 2009 was The Viking's year. But gotta move on and look at a good rebuild year.

I'm just glad the dirt bag Vikings lost to the Saints in 2009.

Just stiring the pot. I'm a long time Saints fan. I watched the Saints/Viks game in an Airport workers break room. I was running up and down the Airport looking for a tv. Some worker saw me frantically running around and he asked if I need help. I said "I need to watch the game!!!" So he let me in his break lounge watch since all the tv's in the airport were in places that were closed.

Truth be told from a Saints fan. There were a ton of no calls on Farve that game. You can blame the refs for that, but not the Saints D. And if Farve had not thrown that INT at the end, the Viks would have won.

Its always good to stir the pot.

People say the final throw as the reason. I say it was not getting calls and ref's as wells as Saint's players making sure they moved out. It is what it is.

I think its funny how Drew is WILLING to sitout the entire year & is pissed he got the franchise tag and was told by Management he was not worth Payton Manning Money. I know of a few teams that would pay as much if not more for Brees's services.

Saints are fools to have let this go this far w Brees. Guy is a top 5 QB in the league, he should get top $$$.

Farve probably would have been ahead and not had to have throw the last int if he wasn't getting cheap shots all game. The refs dropped the ball on that one. It was like the refs wanted the saints to win. Saints are dirty, I hope brees sits out all year lol

I almost do not even need to comment on what the end results are. I guess that "good feeling" everyone got for the Saint's winning is like finding out you got a Terminal STD.
