Default Hmm head/cam or new ls3?

What you guys think? Current motor has 95k on it and I want to heads and cam it then run it till it blows and put in a 8liter monster.

Can do that or buy a ls3 motor and put it in with a cam

How much power can a ls3 hold in stock form before it fails?

a cammed LS3 can make 450rwhp ...same as a H/C/I LS3. Probably have a better torque curve as well.

I'd go with the LS3 for sure. people have taken them past 600whp on the stock block safely.

Ls3 is a decent swap... I would do a 6.0 lq9 with l92 top end... Slightly heavier and barely less power, way cheaper.

Cam only should make 450Rwhp, ported heads should allow 500.
