how is everyone preparing

Everything is nailed down, bolted down, or tied down!! Car is in the garage, under the cover! I'm hoping the forecast is wrong but time will tell! Are you going to E-town next week for the Big 3 Shootout?? Probably will go if weather cooperates. Thinking about the All Chevy show on 11/10 at Atco also! This is when the air starts to get good, maybe a new PB but I doubt it.

I'm from central mass so its not going to be too bad for me. Im just keeping the car in the garage and I put a few things away in the shed so they won't blow away. I'll probably be working outside a little bit tomorrow Haha.

stumprrp 10-28-2012 07:23 PM

RI here. Called out of work and camping at the in-laws lol

CTSVBiggie 10-28-2012 07:26 PM

Reading pa area, have 10 gal of gas for my generator, it can power the whole house except for the a/c. All the cars are full of gas, put away all patio furniture, plenty of food. They closed the schools for mon & tues already. Should be a fun week, lol...

GoodSpeed150 10-28-2012 08:16 PM

Water, apple juice, a couple of cans of food. Im good.

Just in case guys, if it starts looking really really bad, fill up your bathtubs.

TransAmWS.6 10-28-2012 08:42 PM

College is closed down tomorrow, phone is charged, Camaro has a full tank of gas, got plenty of beverages, flashlights, a good cooler, ice, chips/crackers and GM High Tech's/schoolwork ready to go. I have all of this because I know my power will be gone for a while if this storm hits us hard like it's supposed to.

murphinator 10-28-2012 08:49 PM

went up to camp and pulled my boat out and stuck it on the lawn where no trees are close by , picked up and secured chairs ,paddle boat , canoe ,kayaks etc...

picked up essentials (30 pack)

went home and watched the game...

then put a bunch of cars ,truck , car trailer ,utility trailer ,etc.. on the front lawn where no trees are around - hopefully none fall on my house or garage...

Baltimore here.
Parked the car as far back in the driveway away from trees and power lines as I could. Got plenty of food, batteries, and other supplies. I'm fully expecting a power outage tomorrow. I know I'll be off work for a couple days as it'll be flooded out.

senicalj4579 10-28-2012 10:24 PM

Food, drink, gas, candles, flashlights, and pulled the car out from under a tree. If we lose power for a while ill make a fire and use the cast iron dutch oven outside.
Good luck everyone.

Millville here. I stay prepared but I will be at work. Just hope nothing happens to the camaro in my nice new shiny pole barn. Or house. And also hope no body is stupid enough to try and come around and steal shit like people were doing during the storm in july. If so then the wife will be giving them buckshot ffor Halloween lol.

Good luck everyone and stay safe.
