26th Annual Cruisin' Ocean City 2016

I had a great time at Endless Summer Cruisin. Wife & I Took our 2 Greyhounds along in my Camaro to go to Greyhounds reach the Beach in Rehobeth, lol. Worked out well surprisingly. Had fun Cruisin and getting pics of my car at the Sand dunes near the hotel we were at and the inlet. Countdown for Spring Cruisin week is on, I'm planning to add Stainless Works Headers & Cats along with a good catback over the winter, and finish off with a Jeremy Formato tune for my L99

It's not like Ocean City have left guys with trailers in the dark, and they brought the regulations on themselves by picking bad locations to park them. It will be nice to be able to see what is coming down Baltimore Ave when pulling out of the hotel, but now there will probably just be hillbilly trucks in their place to block the view of oncoming traffic.

I heard the cops, brodozers, and idiots were rampant in the fall.
I haven't gone in a few years due to the increasing amount of idiots. The last thing I need is someone slamming their rattle-canned, 86 GT into my **** because they felt the need to show off the roaring power of their FIVE-OH.

I have not been down to OC in several years for cruisin week, the number of idiots, jackasses and ********* were astronomical in amount. From what ive been reading and hearing from friends that have gone it has got worse over the last few years.
That being said i was interested in going this year. Due to my job I am forced to pick my vacations several months in advance. The vacation picks also go by seniority on the job. The best week i could pick just happened to be during cruisin week.
I typically visit OC during off season due to the vacation picking issue, normally pay around $50 a night for a motel room. When I checked prices for 2016 cruisin week I was shocked. The same motels are now $200-$300 a night. Whats funny is I checked prices a few weeks ago before the dates of cruisin week were announced and the were only about $90 a night. I dont remember ever paying several hundred dollars a night for a room. How long have room prices been this high? I thought about sharing a room with friends but a majority of properties only allow parking for 1 vehicle. Does anybody have suggestions on a more affordable room?
