Default Engine sonic checking Maryland,Va or Pa

Need to find somewhere to sonic check a 5.3 block to see if it can bored to 3.903 bore. It's an LH6 block. Had two machine shops in Frederick tell me they wouldn't do it and a third that said he wont do anything unless I buy forged rods too. So I need to find a place to sonic check the block so I'll know how far it can go.

I don't have an answer for you, but I think the machine shops around here are terrible. I have called around and found them to be arrogant, unhelpful, and over priced. Goodluck with your search.
