Just moved to NY from texas, does anyone know if having the rear o2's tuned out on my car will cause it to fail inspection?

Get the car re-tuned for the conditions up here in jersey. with the tune someone can take the CEL off

I don't have a CEL on. I just heard that in NY they hook a computer up to make sure everything on the car is reporting like it should. I'm wondering what people here in NY do if you don't have cats. Do they tune out the rear o2's or do they have to be left on to pass a inspection?

I am in jersey so i cant speak on behalf of new york. Here in jersey as long as there is no check engine light on you are good to go. best bet private facility

you'll have no issues since they are tuned out and there is no CEL.
