theres a guy local who has a smashed in the back 99 z28 with t56. car has 105k miles. he wants to sell me the whole car, i just want the drivetrain. all i know is that the motor is supposedly good, and the tranny supposeedly has one syncro issue, dont really know how bad it is. the question is, how much is something like this worth? i dont want to be the terd that overpays, but i dont want to walk away from a good deal.

does it have any mods on it ? you can sell those off as well , did the rear end survive ? 342 rear is worth 200-300 what color is the car ? is the interior good particularly front seats and dash pad always someone looking for those , interior color ?

Car is gold. Don't know interior color or condition yet. Ss hood. Slp airbox, eibach lowering, spohn adjustable torque arm, adjustable pan hard bar, tubular rear control arms, spohn front and rear sway bar . From the pics rear seems ok

keep in mind you provably have to pay something to recycle the shell too.

it is the opposite , bring what is left to a scrapyard and get paid by the ton I have parted out a bunch of w bodies and always get paid for the shell

Scheduled pickup of this car for tonight so eyes on the classifieds for the part out post. Letting it all go cheap, and can arrange delivery or meetings for larger items to many of you in the eastern section at least.
