Traffic wasn't bad at all this year, its was pretty boring down there overall. 10+ years ago OC used to be so much fun, hell even 5 years ago it wasn't awful. The times of getting in 50+ runs a weekend down coastal are long gone and so are the days of making a waterbox and having burnouts for hours nonstop. I think the 2 biggest contributors to ruining OC are the bike that plastered the f250 at 100+ and the blue c6.

Finally home home, came back worked and then left again for memorial day.
Talking to freinds who enter the show, where they are normally sold out, there were still registrations for entering your car on friday. So the attendence was way way way down. I think the traffic was made BY the city, using light timing etc to keep it slow and make it look or feel as packed.
Still had a good time and if anything the police there seemed nicer, didnt hear about them ticketing as many people or especially those who entered the show as they entered the boardwalk parade like last year.

That's probably true, but there weren't as many people sitting along the road with chairs, the parking lot across from our hotel is usually packed with people sitting in truck beds hanging out and it wasnt, the hotel we stay at usually has no vacancy and it had vacancy's this year.
