We're going to get dumped on!!!

It looks like we might get 2 feet of snow. Sunday morning will be fun! :)

Ralphy g-Machine Jan 22, 2005 02:10 AM

11 o'clock news said anywhere from 18-24", and up to 30" some places on LI and up north. I knew we should have bought that snow blower...

WJ SOM SS Jan 22, 2005 07:20 AM

Tom, you people along the coast are going to get cranked by this one....Usually, up here in central Mass we get the big snow accumulation, but this time it's your turn. Hopefully you won't get the real big tides..... Good luck and silicone up the snowblower chute....WJ

davered00ss Jan 22, 2005 10:55 AM

This Sh!T sucks. :(

JS Jan 22, 2005 11:28 AM

9 to 15 for us
Did I say I hate snow.....

demonspeed Jan 22, 2005 11:31 AM

I would like it much better if I had something to drive in it. All my buddies have lifted Bronco's, so it'll be fun tonight and tomorrow especially once it starts drifting :D

Casperws6 Jan 22, 2005 11:32 AM

i love california :)

AK's WS6 Jan 22, 2005 11:32 AM

It's pretty much passed us (I think..lol) it left about 8-10in here...enjoy!!

WJ SOM SS Jan 22, 2005 12:20 PM

Sat., 1:20 pm. Just starting to snow here now in central Massachusetts...WJ

demonspeed Jan 22, 2005 12:42 PM

It's been dead here in Central PA for about a half hour. We didn't get a whole lot. I'm guess though that the worst is yet to come

tbyrne Jan 22, 2005 01:12 PM

I went by the beach a little while ago and had the feeling of "it's coming". Moved all the vehicles around this morning and the generator is ready in case the power goes out and the "monster truck" has a full tank of gas. Bring it on! :)

CamTom12 Jan 22, 2005 01:45 PM

Yeah, it's ridiculous. Not because there's all that much yet, but because the ground is so cold that it stuck right away.

Did you know that if you creep up a hill at 2-3mph in 4th at 4500rpm your ABS Inop light will come on?? Goes off after you shut the car down, I kept sliding backwards unless I spun the wheels even more. I like having too much power for the snow so long as its not snowing :). Now I'm stranded at a friend's house in Peekskill, hahaha

turbo6 Jan 22, 2005 02:13 PM

this stuff sucks fun for a bout an hour then it is stupid and a pain.

thechef Jan 22, 2005 06:02 PM

man i just back from the local bar and i got to say that my car goes great in the snow there is like 5 in on the ground and the car goes great i have never really driven it in any snow i always avoided it especially with my tired 315 tires but i am afraid no more

mitchotoole Jan 22, 2005 06:10 PM

looks like 8 or so inches so far here.

BAD ASS TA WS6 Jan 22, 2005 06:15 PM

When I talked to my buddy driving through CT around 2 or 3 o clock today they already had 2-3 inches. It didn't start snowing here until around 4:30, it came down hard for an hour and now it's slowing down. We've got maybe 2 inches now. In the morning I bet I'll wake up and we'll have like a foot and a half. Clean up is a pain in the ass..

LS1BlackBeauty98 Jan 22, 2005 07:13 PM

hey im outside philly pa and i think we got about 8-10 inches so far, it has stopped snowing thank god. i keep looking out at my car in the driveway. i bought car covers last night for my moms car and mine so atleast the snow wasn't completely on the cars. it still sucks to see like 10in of snow packed up around my car! damn i hate this wheather, just think 2 1/2 more months until it starts to get warm again, hopefully i cant make it!!!! haha

budhayes3 Jan 22, 2005 08:26 PM

The news just said that they declared a state of emergency here in Jersey...they want everyone off of the roads. They're talkin about 14 to 18". My back is already starting to ache and I haven't even picked up the shovel yet! :jest:

CamTom12 Jan 22, 2005 09:31 PM

Hahaha, I hear you on the clean-up part

I just got in from doing a mid-storm shovel... Lots of snow on the ground

badpewter-z Jan 22, 2005 11:22 PM
