Parts are in, car's in!
 

Car's in the shop @ Eastside now. Dropped it off last night, parts are all in, work to start late this week. Should be a new animal when it's done for sure.
Can't wait!

I'll post dyno results probably late next week, and I'll give it a good butt o meter test after a few heat cycles on the rear.... still need to finish that break in on the clutch that went in last fall too. Should make it to the track sometime in april for a T&T day, get a feel for it, she what she's made of.

Now, if damn new england will stop with the crappy weather, maybe I'll be able to enjoy it.... come on spring time!

I feel your pain. I'm also waiting to break in a new clutch. :)

I'll enjoy it I'm sure Chef. Should be alot more fun to drive. Clutch still has some chatter to it, I've only got about 200 miles on it since it went in the car last October. Now that the car's gonna be like a new toy again.. I'm sure I'll be driving it more, at least until I'm used to it again.

good luck, dont know cam specs, but im sure she will make good power. the chatter, that normal, it doesnt go away 100%, but it does get better

Chatter is better thna the day I brought it home. Should get a little better than it is now I'd assume... have to wait and see.

I'm sure that a hard launch at the track will cure it :)

I figured as much. I did notice one thing on my way to the shop, there seemed to be a whirring noise when I got on it a little bit on the highway around 3500 rpm +, never noticed it until then. Hopefully that's not a bad thing. Seemed to only do it under a load. Kind of odd. Didn't seem to matter what gear it was in either.

I'm expecting noise from the rear, the 9 inch that was in my old mustang used to sing to me at anything more than idle speed. I know that the rod end control arms are gonna be louder than the poly stuff I had on, that's cool too. Motor should roar a bunch more, also a good thing, until Johnny law decides he doesn't like hearing it thru my Loudmouth... then that will have to go. The whirring sound I figure was from the air that the puck design of the clutchis moving, or something along those lines. I just found it to be an odd sound, there when there's a load in the car, not when there isn't. I've never heard anything like that before. Should be o.k. tho.. clutch is probably just breaking in or something. You ever have any of that during your 6 speed days?

Sounds cool man, I can't wait to see that thing. This weather sucks, it's supposed to snow through sunday up here in NH. I've heard by the end of this week we'll be seeing 45 degrees or so, and it should start warming up from there. FINALLY. This winter keeps on going, and going. It's crap :judge:
