4 channel 7.5 10 bolt w/3.42's for sale....
I'm going to give Eastern members a chance on this for a few days before posting it on the National side... This is a 30,000 mi. COMPLETE rear out of a '01 SS coupe that was hit high in front and totalled out. It was a un-modded M6 car, WITH traction control. Comes complete w/ Torsen carrier, 3.42, calipers, rotors, backing plates, coil springs and rubbers, lca's, panhard bar, emergency brake cables, brake lines, all TCS wiring and sensors. The rear is quiet and has never been apart. When I removed the cover to inspect gears and carrier, the oil was clean. This is a bolt-in-and-play piece for someone who has grenaded their unit... Best REASONABLE offer. Will not seperate, and you come to Massachusetts to pick it up... PM me if seriously interested. WJ

I know about the rings .. but they are alum.. can't weigh a thing.. hmm.. I thought it only screwed with the throttle pedal etc.. not actually put any brakes on.. never really looked at the whole system closely.

Now that I think about it, I must've been looking at the emergency brake "shoes" that grab the ridge on the inside of the rotor...Anyway--it's going. If not, it'll be up in front corner of my garage to trip on when I walk by it.... WJ

I just put some on my new axels they are steel. they weigh about 2 lbs each it's not much but it is rotating mass and un-sprung weight.
Also if they were ALU. the TC wouldn't work because it utilizes Hall switch, it uses magnetism to work. ALU. doesn't have magnetic properties as steel does.
You know what, I knew that samon was bad! It's gonna be a very long noisey night!
I don't know weather or not to or
When in doubt through it out!
