Holy s*it Steph. Great numbers, you'll be flying. Easy 12's for sure. I'm sure you'll be very happy. One question, whats next?

nice numbers im looking at doing the same set up

hondo Apr 21, 2005 04:42 PM

oooh nice numbers.... :D hello 12 bolt :drive:

JL ws-6 Apr 21, 2005 04:43 PM

I'd say that should liven the car up quite a bit. I do find it intresting that the tq curve is as high and linear as it is with that cam... the hp peaking the way that it does is what I would have expected, but I also expected the tq curve to be similar. That's low lift AFR flow #'s for ya.... building good bottom end tq.

I don't know what you have done to your car Steph as far as chassis mods... but with that power, you should be looking for something in the high 11's... depending on what you are running for a tire, and the weight of the car, and how the car hooks.

Hope you got a new driveshaft with the 12 bolt... and a clutch too, as that factory ones are gonna take a crap with that kind of power pretty quick... but you probably already know that.

Congrats, good luck with it!

Steph, with that torque curve you're gonna love it on the street just as much as on the track. Great parts choices and great job Don!

Steph I'm kinda jealous, your gonna have a ton of fun in the car. In a way it's like a new car all with a jump like that in power. Have fun!

I sense that Don wanted a smaller duration cam for you, but that looks very nice. Don't they call that the "Torquer"?
Thank goodness you put in the 12 bolt with the mods :D
I just bought a Spohn shaft and love it! Direct from them, 1 day shipping from Pa. and $325!!!
Subframe connectors, some rear suspension tweaks. Nice street killer
Be proud :usa:

You had the sense to buy one before, buy this car, buy the right mods, employ the right installer/tuner, you'll have the sense to drive it to bliss

lilstephsLS1, Those are great numbers. That is similar to what I have in mind. I am glad for you that you got the major mods done (I am 2-3 years away from doing that setup myself so major congrats to you :) ) I have one question why did you want to stay with 3.42's over 4.10's or 3.73"s?

Don as usual you performed some most excellent tuning. I am sure glad you spent the time to figure out the tuning to perfection
