Gatherings on Berlin Tpk, CT
The Tweeter store in Newington, CT will be the site of regular gatherings on the Berlin Tpk every Friday from 8pm-12am. This will not be a car *show* per say just a place for people to hang out with out getting busted by the cops. No prizes or events or anything. There will be Tweeter empolyees and installers available for questions both home and car related available. We will be working in conjuction with Newington PD so if trouble starts we can address it (there will not be one on site, just available in the event that something happens). ***Please no racing or burnouts ( as much as I love them )*** We would like these to continue and if people break the rules and law we will be forced to stop them. Obivously weather permitting. The 1st event will be on Friday, June 10th. All cars are allowed, domestic, import, classic, and yes even fords*shudder* hehe.

....and don't let the pencil-necked jerks ruin this with stupid nonsense like burnouts and alcohol and loud music. that sorta crap has ruined so many legitimate cruise events......leave your personal problems at home please.

Great news!
I hope people can respect this opportunity. My fear is that a few jack-asses will ruin it for everyone. People NEED to leave the rubber on the tires and the bottles in their trunks. If you're going to drink, at least be smart enough to limit the consumption and drink out of inconspicuous containers. Litter and rubber on the grounds or disorderly conduct will certainly bring this to a close quickly.
It remains to be seen if "everyone" can, and will, play nicely together. It's a rare occurrence to have both groups (domestic and import) in one place and if they are, I suspect it won't be long before the friction escalates to the point of trouble... I hope I'm wrong. My guess is one group or the other will take over the location. Since CC doesn't seem to want the ricers in there lot, I think they'll be all over this new hangout... again, I hope I'm wrong!
I will try to make a point to attend on the 10th, the more domestics that show, the better off we'll all be in the future. Keep in mind, if rice floods the lot on the 10th, the domestics probably won't be back. Lets make a strong showing if weather is permitting.
Alan,
Please thank the appropriate management for this wonderful opportunity.
