Default New Best For Me Yesterday

Well considering it was a very hot and muggy day i was extremely pleased with the way the car ran. I went a 12.45 @ 109.15 on a 1.76 60'. That was on BFG drag radials, i was impressed. I picked up .4 tenths from the converter, and it deffinitely has more in it on a cooler day and a little better track prep i think. The best thing of all was she lifted the front tire These are some damn good tires. The car feels real strong, i dont know if i want to take it apart to put the cam in It was good meeting some new faces, Me and Ace68 had a nice go of it.

That was the best run of the day for me, all the others I had like a sec. or better lead. I almost had you at the end, if only there was 20 feet more in the quarter. I have to go back to east side and let them check out my suspension so I can get some better 60's

actually me and noyzee did all my suspension work, except for the subframes that esp did for me. I cant believe how good it hooks up. You were gaining on me fast though, the car traps unbelievably high. Good run none the less, i think the reason i lost a tenth on that one was because of the heat, the car just kept running hotter and hotter, no matter how much i tried to cool it down. From past experience i know the car doesnt like the heat, usually if i go up on a street night if i do one run early then let it cool down i'll drop a tenth and pick up a mph, so hopefully come cooler weather i can get a little more out of the car.

I def. need help with the susp. I have the parts on there like qa1's and adjustable TA Nittos but I haven't got any 1.7's yet. I don't know ?

I set the shocks at 10 yesterday and I got my lowest 1.80 so I'm almost there.

That was my favorite race yesterday even though I lost because it was so close and I almost drove by ya I was like..... come on come on ........****

that was my first time out with the converter, so im sure some lower 60's are possible. I should probably invest in some qa1's and such, see what they'll do for me. I kind of dont want to change anything right now though, cause im real happy with it

Congrats on the good runs. I'd get someone else to help you with the suspension seeing as Brad is seeing blue sky on his ride.

thats funny!!
i did tims car, but realy all that was was bolting in the parts and small adjustments. he doesnt even have qa1's!!
Rich is my suspention guy, without him, my sorry *** would probably still be running 2.0's LOL
i do know how to set them up tho now, I learned from THE BEST!
Ace, IMO 10 is to high. i could probably help you out some with the 60.

the car is well thought out. nothing has been rushed, and all the best parts have been used. just proves that it pays off to do it correct.

wait till that custom grind goes in the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
