Default My times at Camaro/Firebird Day

Nice to bump into a few of you guys there that day. I had a good time even though it was so damn humid, swamp *** does not even begin to explain it

Anyways I finally got a time with the cam and pulley in.

12.57 @ 107.5 1.80 60ft

Now I know it was really hot and I could tell the car was a little more sluggish than normal. But I figured it would of gone a little faster. Atleast trap over 110.

I ran a 12.78 on a 1.89 60 before the cam, also on a hot day.

I dunno I just figured it would of been a bit faster. Its a slightly smaller cam than most of you guys run, but it still gave me 380 unlocked, and shifting at 6500.

A4 traps lower anyways, but I thought it would of still been over 110.

It's got more in it... wait until september, and try again. You didn't have those nitto slicks, I mean drag radials on that you had on at summer nat's did ya? If so.... that could be something. Just a thought.

I did take the spare and jack out. Otherwise, yeah its a pig. I bet with my *** it weights at like 3750 - 3800.

I was running my nitto slicks too I cut a 1.8 on those bitches.

Whats funny I woke up that morning and had a flat (nail).
So I go down and get it patched. The guys like why even patch these they are spent. I'm like I need these just to last for today, going to the track. He looked at me like I was crazy...

I guess I was expecting more than .3 with a cam swap. I did let my old man borrow it the day before, thanks for the nail dad. Maybe he broke something, doubt it though

He did according to him, do a nasty hole shot up at Hanscom AFB (works there), had to show off i guess. He forgot to turn off the traction control, although he said it lit em' up just fine and no boggin', so I dunno if he messed somethin up there.
