Default Intermittent ABS INOP light

Guys I have been getting this light on the dash intermittently lately whether at the track or on the street. I took out the rear ABS sensors and cleaned them, but the problem still persists. Anyone got an idea or probable cause for what's causing this? The first time I ever noticed it was after doing a second gear burnout without a line lock & doing the clutch to brakes left foot jump. Let me know what you think, Fred

rear wheel speed was faster than the fronts for an extened period of time . always does that and will do it on the dyno too.

Ok, Thanks Keith!

I ran shitty at Winterport Maine due to severe traction issues with their new starting pad. Best run was 7.64@93.9, 90+weather and humid, on a 1.78 60'. I even had the bigger 16" ET Streets on the back at 14 psi..heated.

Previously at Englishtown my last run netted a 7.50@91.5(bangin rev limiter) on a 1.74. I just need a little more seat time with this car.

To think..on the stock motor I was cutting 1.64 60' times. Kieth what 1/8th times did you net at NED?-Fred

My ABS inop llight would always come on when I ran bias ply ET Streets or M&H's on the highway, along w/radial fronts. Soon as the bias rears were removed and the radials went back on, the light disappeared. Never lit up at the track though...Don't know why, although a tire out of balance will put the light on as well..... WJ

Winterport was a good time just not too many street cars.

I had to laugh when me & at the time the only other street car was a new Mach 1 Mustang stock except for the 4.10's on street tires lined up four different times. The announcer was saying this Mustang coming up is a high horsepower car, blah blah blah, lol.
After the second run the announcer came back on the horn and said the Camaro has all kind of go fast parts under the hood and they actually trailored that car in here
He was going 8.8-8.9 at 81-82 spinning most of the way, so then he turned the traction control on
I just thought the announcer was purposely trying to **** me off I think he got the job because he knows how to work the crowd.-Fred

Seems like your car & mine have about the same power & ET's. My best 1/8th mph to date was 94.04. Mine usually clicks off 93 pretty steady even in the heat.
