Is anyone going to this?

Demonicbird00 Sep 18, 2005 05:58 AM

im thinking about it, if i dont have a 12 bolt by then ill just have to slap another 10 bolt in. i was pretty consistant at running 12.1s

I have a muffler but can i run w/ the cutout open?

ANYONE is more than welcome to join in, but there are some pretty heavy hitters in this. My car is well past the 12's and there is no way in hell I stand a chance. That 408 with a T88 (should be mid 9's or better????) might be able to run in the middle of it, and just pray the heavy hitters break :jest:

I'll be there watching, should be some good racing!

if i have a chance to get some passes on my new setup before november i may enter but if not ill definatly be there watching

I'd say mid 9's is the cutoff to be competitive, but you never know, some of the so called "street cars" might have a tough time driving both ways! Remember, not only do you HAVE to drive TO the track, you have to drive back also :eek2:

Krazy98Z28 Sep 18, 2005 11:54 AM

can the hood be opened at any time????

I'm competing with my 10 second car. You never know what might happen!!!

Krazy98Z28 Sep 18, 2005 09:12 PM

I think we might bring a car to this...how much do you expect the pot to be

7DMACH1 Sep 18, 2005 09:13 PM

3-5K is what we expect.

Demonicbird00 Sep 19, 2005 05:58 PM

wait so its not like bracket racing, just whoever gets down to the end first?

7DMACH1 Sep 19, 2005 06:04 PM

Yes!!!

Fred99Z28 Sep 20, 2005 08:56 AM

Noyzee,

Wasn't you just saying something about trying a 300 shot, lol. :judge:

Noyzee Sep 20, 2005 09:54 AM

is changing the bottle alowed?
if so, i can do the 25 mile ride no problem, and i will by a set of the 28x12.5 et streets!!!
hmmmmm, im registered and insured, and have an inspection sticker. hmmmm
only problem is, i will probably have my motor/engen bay project going on in november. racing for me will probably be over after lvd.

noyzee i say go and represent the LS1 crowd... you see the purse it could be 3-5k, put off you engine plans for a few more weeks and take a shot at winning a couple grand. also remeber its at atco, there could be a new best in it for you :drive: ...

Noyzee Sep 20, 2005 11:37 AM

i would think about it, any idea if i can change bottles?

i know i can make the drive, i have a 12 gall tank, and still get 18-20 miles to the gallon
but i can only get 2 passes out of a bottle.

860 Performance Sep 20, 2005 11:57 AM

I'd concider this one. Brad if you decide to go, I would also be interested.
Plus I've never been to Atco.:drive:
