Give me your oppinions... Kind of a funny question for a poll on a car site, but I need to decide today...
I'm in the process of finishing off my basement, putting in another bathroom, laundry room, weight room, and a room for a pool table, bar & bigscreen. I ordered a 6' x 3' combo shower/whirlpool for the bathroom from one of our suppliers and when it came in it has the fake tile look... and I hate that, but a lot of other people have told me they like it... I called our supplier and they said if I keep it I can have it for 50% off. I just want to know if you think the tile look is ugly... And I need to decide today because I need to remove the entire door to fit it in and we're replacing the door next week.

it's not so bad, and for 50% off why bother sending it back. How many times are you going to even use it also you will have doors on it covering most of the offending tile correct? Not may choices on your list so #3 for me. But I don't hink your gay I don't even know you

i had to vote that your gay.
but i also dont care for the tile look, but for 50% its a hard call.
depends who will see it and how used it will be. if it is in a main bathroom and will be used daily, get rid of it. if its a once a month thing. screw it, and give me the money you save.lol

Thats kind of what I was thinking, nobody will really ever use that bathroom except when we're drinking and playing pool...
And no offence taken I thought brad would be the first to call me gay... but you beat him to it...

well, it's going in the basement - it won't get used or looked at anywhere near as much as any other bathroom in the house, plus it's going to have doors/curtains covering it when you aren't in the shower
all the stuff you listed that you're doing in the basement indicates a guy's hangout and guys aren't going to walk into your bathroom and say "hey look at the fake tile in the shower" at 50% off, i'd say it's a no brainer - keep it

It's quite tacky looking--but keep the sophisticated broads from giving their dumb opinions (if you're lucky enough to coax a couple of them in there.) and you'll be all set. 50% off and the supplier is still making 25-30%. Just make sure there's access to the pump and related piping. They all give you problems sooner-or-later. (whirlpool pumps AND broads.) BTW, what brand unit is that thing?

I think I'm just going to keep it, I personally think it's ugly but waiting for exactly what I want would mean paying more and it would hold us up maybe a week and I don't want to wait... I need to get my house done before racing starts! And besides everyone who happens to like it seem to be cute young girls... So... I'll keep it

having the whirlpool is a good idea for the drunk room... when the ladies get sloshed, they will be more inclined to get naked and shower with eachother!

Lasco is one of the better fiberglass tub-shr. Mfg's....IMO, Kohler makes the best quality glass units, but Lasco is good, as well. Hope you have some fun using it, once it's piped up.
