LVD Tommorrow??
I can't make it tomorrow, but as long as the weather holds I'll be there next Saturday the 22nd. Thats the only day I could make it all month, so I have full intentions of going. Plus I'm getting a retune at Eastside on the 20th.

awd cars/trucks = don't count
fwd cars/trucks = count against you
snowmobiles = double count against you.

ls1's are far from a gift, more like a curse... any engine with the potential that these have is a $ sucking curse, much like 80's 5 litre fords, etc. etc.
Plenty of stuff can go fast, toss enough $ at a shopping cart and even it can run a #, but the point is that they are not the classic design which 99% of all race cars are based off of. They, are designs that were created to get people from a to b safely adn in a fuel effecient manner.. and should be left for this purpose.

Technology the way it is now has proved that RWD V8's are not the only way to go fast. And it's kind of funny to see the new technology do better than the old. Times have changed and they will never go back to the way they were. Get over it.

Just because technology has changed, it doesn't mean the classic spirit and design of a race car should.
Tell nascar, top fuel, funny car, sprint cars indy cars, F1, etc.etc that fwd/awd is a better thign because it is newer technology, and they should go to that. Good luck!

but i bet any money that if someone could find a way to get awd to take 2000 they would make a new class in the nhra/ihra.
its like a jr dragster, not everyone likes to race a rwd car, some people like there kids racing that, and some people enjoy sledding so much they race them, or maybe cannot afford a car, so they use there sled year round.
kind of bugs me alittle, but oh well
