bad ass

The power warrants a automatic transmission. I have friends with the same power, or a tad more in a C5, and you can't put it to the ground with a stick trans....big top end, but disappointing on the bottom...no hook, slip, or break. Bolt in a auto = instant top gun. I love Brent's car--always have. WJ

That's a badass setup right there!

One qustion though, why the 225 ET heads? Did he already have them from a smaller CI setup, or are you trying the smaller runner size to see what the results will be? With all the larger sizes they offer, I can only assume these were on a 346 setup.

BrentC5 Jun 30, 2006 05:27 AM

Oh baby, this is my dream set up. It's all coming together. Chris did a really good job on the hood and several people have commented it looks like it was made for the C5. Don is the brains of the setup so if you have any questions ask him, but I can tell you he's the only one I would trust and has never failed me yet. I'm going to take it up to the track N/A and see what it can do after a little breakin.

People said a 218 Cam wouldn't work in a 408  Look at Mikes car,800rwhp all the time :) Bigger is not alway's better.

It's a street car,never an auto.High HP and A4 doesn't mix on the street,alot more control with a M6 :)

Actually we were going to run ET 240's but due to their backlog we ran out of time. With the D1 goes in , it really isnt going to matter much and maybe during the winter when heads become avaiklable over there Don will switch them out.
