thats not a bad car.. its still american... and you could put an exhaust intake pulley and tune and it would probably make some decent power.. i really know nothing about the cars though, but that seems like the formula for any stock supercharged car.. however.. i would shoot for the trailblazer..

One of the girls that works for me drives a TrailBlazer SS. Nice ride! Can't go wrong with a Corvette either. How did she end up wanting a Cobalt SS through? I guess you can be happy that it's not a Neon or a Civic

for a beather car there not that bad and can be made a 13 sec 30mpg car very easily and not for alot of loot. dont get me wrong its still a cobalt in the end. its half the price of a vette or TB SS too

cobalt ss are not bad. i have one for a dd. And as said above can be made fast for pretty cheap. There is a stage five kit out there for $1000 that can get them to trap in the 108 to 110 area.

GM's stg 2 puts ya close to 280 hp to the ground with the gmpp catback. and when its tuned it locks a/f at a safe 11.5 a/f ratio .

My girl just bought a 2006 Nissan 350Z, I tried everything in my power to get her away from that, but thats what she wanted. I know once the first snow storm hits shes gonna be wishing she listened to me. First rear wheel drive car plus its a 6-speed.

Itss really not a bad choice. That ecotec is a good engine for a 4 banger (one of the best out there) and a few cheap mods will REALY wake up the already supercharged engine (as long as she gets the supercharged version SS)

I dont see what youre bitching for. Perhaps she likes the idea of 30 mpg instead of 12. And half the cost to purchase, and lower insurance, and maintenance costs.

There aren't a lot of car gals out there, be happy you've got one of them. Even if she goes w/ a cobalt SS, that is still a fun little car. I understand that you're mad because she went from a Vette/TBSS down to a cobalt, but a cobalt SS is better than a Beetle or V6 'Stang.
