Anyone wanna help with my clutch?
I recently attempted to change the clutch on my car myself. I got everything off around the tranny, then I got all 8 bolts holding the tranny to the bellhousing removed, but the tranny would not slide out. I ended up having a shop finish the job and I had them put in the Spec Stage 1 clutch I had. Well 1 week later the clutch is melted and the car will barely move. The olther local shop quoted me $500-$600 to have it done, and that is me getting a good deal due to knowing someone, but I just cannot afford to pay that.
I would like to attemp to do the clutch again myself, now that everything has been out very recently I feel it will be a bit easier. So if anyone is in the Massachusetts area and would like to give me a hand lemme kno, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
-Scott

Well the local tranny shop told me $350, but that $500-$600 was including clutch/flywheel resurfacing the whole nine yards.
Also, they said the clutch is probably defective, but it would cost me money just to have it taken out so either way the clutch needs to be done, and I cant afford to bring it to a shop...
Lastly, I bought the clutch off of a board member here, it came in the box still packaged, but I didnt get it from SPEC so I don't think they will do much...
