Damn it's hot... It was 90 degrees when I went for lunch a little while ago and we're only about a 1/2 mile from the ocean. You'll find me sightseeing..... at Horseneck Beach during lunch tomorrow :) I can image how it is in Providence and Boston today. |
It's 107.2* here in Central New Jersey....roadways are starting to buckle. |
Ok, it's now considered cool over here! 20 years from now we'll probably think 100-105 degrees is nice and 110+ on the East Coast will be common highs. |
temp today in boston got to about 95 but we hung a temp gauge in the building we are working in and it hit almost 140 so yea its hot as hell |
its hot alright. its not as hot as my temper has been though. :jest: |
This sucks.....Im in a bakery all day infront of 3 ovens ranging in temps from 375* to 500* :eek2: :eek2: fuck this...... |
Yup, I'm frying my breakfast eggs on the pavement tomorrow a.m. It is now 10:20pm (Delaware time) and it is still 81 degrees, but it was actually hotter in Ocean City, MD by 2 degrees (heat index of 108 at the fricked beach of all places) WTF :eek2: |
i was trying to install my roll cage from 7-9 but 10000000000000000 mosquitos attacked me and it was still 95 degrees here and portsmouth is usually cooler |

HOT indeed. :bang: :barf:   <--- I feel sorta like this guy LOL |
it's supposed to be even worse tomorrow :eyes: |
Well it's 4:45AM, I'm off to work and the outside thermo is reading 84* |
you cant win right now, whether you work day or night. I quit last night around 10:45 and it was still 89 degrees. |
My weather tracker is telling me that it's 96 in-land but it's only 86 here. I took a ride out to Martha's Vineyard this morning. It was warm, but not to bad out there. It's only going to be 80 on Thursday (buuurrrr!). |
I hate you... really |
It's very hot in boston. I think i saw 102'degrees. :( |
4 Attachment(s) Lessons learned recently, when it's this hot, don't drive a low car on concrete roadways. The concrete expands and buckles and causes over $4000 in damage. That's what my first estimate came in at. My exhaust is damaged from the headers to the tailpipe need to be replaced. My k-member is dented and needs to be replaced. The front bumper is cracked, and bulging, and needs to be replaced and repainted all because of the expansion joint buckling on a 100 degree day a few weeks back. |
ouch..that sucks Alchemist...goodluck with it. wooo hooo....98 degree right now here in ne philly....the heat index is at 105. you just cant win for losing...its allways either too hot....too cold...or raining anymore..this sucks. |
I thought I escaped this kind of heat when I moved up here, but I can tell you that 100 degrees here is nothing like 100 degrees down south. Or I should say humidity. It really doesn't feel that hot to me. The humidity is only 48%. |
yeah, same here... after living in GA where we had 105 heat indexes by may and having been in palm springs CA, this is easily doable. |
