Single turbo for my truck, or finish up the Camaro?
Well, I have about $5K I want to dump but I'm not sure how. The Camaro has been sitting since last fall (no time for it right now), but I have been collecting some parts for it plus the 10 point and mini tubs should be here this fall and I will have time to work on it this fall too. It's deffinatly getting a Powerglide and I havn't decided on the rear yet (maybe a S60 since the housing has more clearance). But those two items with a converter & driveshaft will eat up the $5K plus some.
Or I could just pop an STS set up with a meth kit in the Silverado. I'm kinda leaning twards doing that since the Silverado is something I drive everyday and seeing that it's stiil stock, it's a complete bone. The problem is that will put me behind on the Camaro, I wanted to do the chassis/driveline this fall and the motor/nitrous set up next fall. Even when it's togethor it might see 50 miles a week at the most (in the summer). I really miss driving it though. Even still I'll probrably slap a set of heads on it this fall and see if I can push it to 9.80s with it's current set up. And if I break it, that will just give me a good reason to let it sit some more.
I gotta admit, a daily beater like my pick up will make a hell of a sleeper.

Ehhhhhh, my opinion is keep the DD bone stock. Do maybe some small appearance things. That is a DD, the other is a race car. Mod the race car to meet goals. Log all your progress and it will be good to note the changes you made and the differences it made at the track.
Just my opinion

Marc, good idea but no more cars for me. This is what my insurance bill looks like every month, $90 for the pickup, $60 for the Cav, and $80 for the Camaro (when it's on the road), can't afford another insurance policy atleast until I'm 25. This is through Geico with a clean record.
I still have to mull things over. I have no intentions of ever selling the Camaro so it will most likely be an on going project for a good portion of my life. The thing that started all this is the fact that I wanted to buy an '07 D-max and I said screw a $700 payment. I'll just put the cash into my pick up since I like it so much and will probrably hang on to it for awhile.
