last year was the first year the club ran this event, we had about 100 cars participate between the racing and car show. we expect that to jump up a lot since the club has grown a ton and it isn't supposed to be 8million degrees like it was last year.
i am lookin forward to seing everyone there.

27 cars in the show about 15 car 's drag raced.. so about 45 50 cars there total...there racing final rounds where done by 12;30 1;00pm....

it started out with about 35 cars in the lanes, after a few runs people stopped coming back around and very few came back for the finals.
too bad so many people missed it, weather was great and everyone seemed to have a good time.

I'm telling you, I think the weather last year killed it for this year.

definately. track management was jsut as disappointed as we were with the turnout, but they understand that events like this need time to grow.
we took a lot of good notes of how to improve things for next year.
the NJFBOA will also be using the nats as the final event for the racing series we are developing next year. if all continues to go according to plan we will have a wider range of classes for everyone to enjoy on the show field and the lanes, as well as a real prize fund with cash to give out for those who find their way to victory lane.

thanks to everyone who attended. we had a good time putting on the nats. definately gonna work hard to improve everything for next year.
