stick car or an auto car?

Sounds like a beast.

Michael4034 Sep 1, 2006 06:19 PM

It's a 6 speed. Matt called alittle while ago with the initial #'s, 505,475 I think. Not bad for a brand new motor with only a few miles on it. He said he was gonna up the timing a hair and call back later. I was hopeing for about 520,480. With some breakin miles and less humid weather I,m sure that is attainable. Oh and it was making 520 uncorrected. :)

that sounds good. I have a similar build going on now.. but it will never spit out a dyno # like that... thanks to a th400 and a 5000 converter. But I can live with that :)

Good luck with it, should be alot of fun when it's all done.

What block is that btw?

ULTIMATEORANGESS Sep 1, 2006 06:44 PM

TTP just oozes with power. :hail: :)

Michael4034 Sep 1, 2006 06:46 PM

It's the LS2 block. Also those #'s are thru a 12 bolt with 4.11's & 17x11 chrome zr1's with 315 nitto drag radials. I can't wait to get some breakin miles and get to the track with a more agressive tune.

Nice. That thing is gonna be a beast. Looking forward to hearing the final numbers and 1/4 mile times.

Michael4034 Sep 2, 2006 04:30 PM

Quick update. Just got off the phone with John @ TTP, hp is up to 530 & tq is 492! This is still with only a few miles on the motor. I'll be getting the car back tonight to put a couple hundred miles on it then it's back to TTP for the final tune & maybe another little surprise.

Michael4034 Sep 5, 2006 08:50 PM

The car is a blast to drive! Really sets ya back in the seat. Bad news is the tranny went :barf: so no track times for a few weeks. On the bright side I should have a new drive shaft by then and the air should be gettin good.

JL ws-6 Sep 5, 2006 08:53 PM

What went in the tranny.. or was it something that was on it's way, the new found power just finished it off?
