Default New Best!!!

Well went to Atco last nite with new tires wanting to use the transbrake.
Tires held with the trans brake, but it lost 60ft. I was pretty pissed off, so i decide to footbrake it. Stalled the conv up to 4000 let her rip. Pulled a 1.39 60ft and went 10.06 at 132.65. I give my buddy Tommy a chance to run thinking hes about lighter then me. He pulls out a 1.38 60ft and goes 10.01 soo close maybe next week.
Wanna thank Tommy and Ric and also Barry from QTP

Way to go bro!

You'r obviosly hitting 9's

If you took out 10lbs from the 10.06 run would would have run a 9second pass

so it ran the 10.01 on a 150 hit... that is good. What do you have on the car for a kit? I'm planning on putting a 90mm plate kit on my car next year.

Sounds good... 2nd stage DP I assume... hit it with another 100 and you're going low 9's at nearly full weight, nothing wrong with that. Lic. and full cage time!

Also good news on the style setup you have, sounds like the NOS plate kit I was looking at will get r dun

The 10.92 that you ran on motor, was that before the shocks too? What about the tires.. do you think there would have been any gain going to the larger tire on motor?

Yes that was before shocks. Dont know if tires would change the n/a pass.
But the 28" fit with no problem just had to trim outer rear bumper corner.

Good to hear on the tire fitment... I figured teh rear bumper cover lip on the inside would need trimming.. couple spots in teh front I'd probaby knock up a little just to be safe too.

If the car went 10.9 on motor before the suspension got set up good... what do you think it would do now, 10.7? I wish you'd gotten it to a dyno already LOL.... I'm about 90% sure we're going to NED tomorrow to test my car, run a couple 1/8th runs, maybe a little less to get the suspension set, or at least as close as we can, then I'm gonna let her rip... hoping for a 10 second time slip. Car feels like it should do it, last car I drove that was a high 10 second car didn't feel as strong, so we'll see. See what happens off the transbrake at 5000
