Default LVD Sat 10/14

Now that I have a break from exams for a bit (finally), I plan to make probably my 3rd and last trip to the track this year for a T&T. Anyone else like to head up with me?

You should take a day off and come to one of the rentals at Atco!

Wayyyyyy too far for me, I'm too lazy to even drive the 3 hours to Epping let alone NJ, and I would be sacrificing too much to take a day off

If you are talking about LVD lets hope they keep those as T&T days. They have been cancelling a few test and tune dates due to making up rained out events

I would... but it's gonna be a LONG trip at 55 on the highway, plus I'm not all too sure about putting pump gas in it yet.. new motor's still pretty new, although it is gonna be cold. Not sure how far it is either from NB, I'd have to bring some race gas with me and try to get there without running out, but without having a full tank of pump gas.... not easy as I don't knwo the mileage that it's gettign at this point, havent' been anywhere far enough to be able to check... plus the speedo isn't hooked up either, so that doesn't help LOL. I was gonna try to go to the rental tomorrow, but that may or may not happen.

Probably about an hour and half to two hours from you, and my boyfriend always brings a thing of I believe 104 with him when he goes, he fills up at the shop which would be on your way.

weather will be about 55 on sat. BRRR

But I guess a water hazzard adds a bit of excitement to the racing.

I don't think you have been there lately but they have picked up a lot. That is why I do not bother driving to NED anymore, in addition to the fact that LVD is 1.25 hours where NED is about 3.25 hours.

I might go saturday if I can get someone to follow me up.. I will just fill the car with pump and take it easy on the way there, have whoever follows me carry the 2 5 gallon cans of race stuff I have at the house so I can put gas in it while I'm there. it's either that, or do the same thing tomorrow... I'd much rather do it tomorrow, I'd be able to get alot more runs in tomorrow then I would be able to do on saturday that I'm sure of. I'm making a couple calls to see who's definately going, if I can get someone to be the chase car, I may just do it tomorrow.

Awesome!! I assume you will trying out the new slicks?
And Rocky's car is back and running? Hopefully it stays together. That little car is a beast

Yes ma'am, slicks n' skinnies are set to go. Only have to figure out how to fit them in my car now for the trip up!

Yeah hopefully his car holds together for once. I bought him a spare set of axles for his birthday, lol. We've been talking alot of trash back and forth, so we're hoping to line up at least a few times saturday and settle it. Going to be a close one probably.

Unless you're running a real skinny tire on the front ( like a et front, or a moroso ds-2) I'd just put the fronts on for the trip.. makes life alot easier. You have 2 extra tires you're already bringing, so you have spares if need be. That's what I usually do.

Yeah, my only worry is its a 1 and a half hour trip, and the Taconic Parkway once you get north is 30 year old concrete with a bunch of patchwork. Not a smooth ride in the least, and I don't want to bend a pair of pricey Bogart front runners on the first trip.

I hear ya. I'm not gonna go not because of that.. but because I'm not quite sure how my car will respond to pump gas at this point.. and I don't want to riskdriving it there and fubaring a brand new motor on the ride there... have to wait until the trailer is available again.

Can't you put them in Rocks car? I mean, I put my tires in Nicks car when we go. At least the SRT4s are good for SOMETHING,
