Well his step mom is in charge and he wanted more control, cant get it so he is leaving. Oh well, its hard for a driver to drive for one company, let alone one sponsor for all of their career. I'd be interested to see where he goes.

its about time he left them , i think he will be much better off away from his step mother and with a team that will work with him more like RCR or gibbs. my money is on RCR though

i dont think it'll be the 3 car other than maybe a race or 2 a year. that i think would be to much for him to drive his dads old car right now

I am by far no nascar fan, my best bud's dad is and he doesnt like Dale Jr, he is a Bobby Labonte fan, so any who, I think it would be cool if he could drive the black 3 car. If anyone here should, it should be him.

Pro wrestlin', Boxing, Nascar.....all in the same category. Before too many yrs. down the road, some of those roundy-round cup tracks will be bulldozed and made into condo complex's. Notice that there are tix available now for races that were always complete sellouts. People are starting to get fed up w/Nascar's phony caution flags and Hitler-style domination over everyone involved. WJ

That's pure greed when the "heir-logical" son doesn't have a controlling stock in a company with his name and founded by his father.

Whatever.. I'd like to see him in the black #3 or teamed up with Stewart and Hamlin. Sponsors love the guy.. and will probably follow him.. "sea of red" marketing with bud, levi's etc.

Earnhardt and Stewert teamed up at gibbs would be a tough pair to beat, much like the Gordon/Johnson team.

Good luck to Dale.. with him leaving DEI, that place will be out of business in a year. I'd put good $ that every talented worker at the place will leave and go wherever Dale goes... and good ole' step-ma won't be able to do a damn thing without them. Serves her right!

As much as I would like to see the Smoke and Jr show, I think seeing a black 3 car back on the track would be awesome. If he goes that route, he better be running a lot stronger than he is now....

i think Jr. is a lot better driver than everyone takes him to be...if he had the equipment johnson has at hendricks, he would prob. have just as many wins...DEI went downhill as far as keeping up with technology the day dale died...theresea doesnt give a damn about her drivers she just wants her money...DEI is nothing without Dale Jr. good luck to her she messed up bad this time.
