Coming to Boston area 6tth-10th of June...
Anything going on? Anything fun to do? I'm flying out to visit a couple of schools for the girlfriend. Wants to be a pharmacist so was interested in looking at Northeastern and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
So who's out here and what is there to do? How's housing prices on the outskirts of those areas?

noyzee and i have already been talking about that stuff through PM's, hahaha. i gotta convince the wifey about that.
I'm not too worried because i think our real estate taxes will make up the difference, hhaha.
I think the school she is most looking at is around Worcester. Been looking at smaller places and doesnt seem to be TOO bad. Around here, your basic house in a decent area is about $250,000 and has $5500/year taxes, haha

hahaha, damn, gotta start looking on some of the real estate sites
On a good note, I got her 99% convinced that since it's our last night there, I get to choose one thing to do. So I think we are gonna be cool for that. How close is the track? We aren't renting a car since we were just gonna take a cab or the shuttle/train everywhere. We are staying in downtown Boston
Might actually have to rent something then.

just let her know there wil be a few other girls there, my old lady and atleast 3 other buddies old ladies so she will have fun as well.
as for where is it. you could also take the train into the salem train station, i will pick you guys up there, and drop you off there that night. worste case if we didnt make it back in time for the last train, grab a cab. my house is only about 15 min from boston.
or rent a car. 24 hour car rental is only like 50 bucks
as for housing peabody, lynn, saugus are close to boston (15 min without traffic) and probably the best places to live that you can have a car, yard and not be in the middle of the boston crap.
lynn however will rape you on insurance.
check out top relestate i know the lady that owns it, she may have a nice place for you.

i'm a sales manager/finance manager for a dealership. Our G.M. basically goes to auction and buys the cars for the lot, and I do the rest for the front end of the store. We are a subprime location, but not a "buy here/pay here" like JD Buyrider. We have 7 stores in the dealer group. I've done sales management at both our Chevy/Cadillac stores, both our Ford, our Lincoln Mercury, etc... as well as Finance stuff.
Anyways, yeah I have plenty of vacation left. It's there fault, cause they like the keep the staff at a BARE minimum, so that means if someone needs off, they need to use an outside source as a fill in. Well we just switched outside sources last week, and they said that there were plenty of people available, and as of this past Friday, we were told that none of those guys will be available till the 19th of June. So sort of bait and switch.
Are the Yankees still in town? I gotta go to a Red Sox game.

Had a great time. Had NO time whatsoever for fun stuff though. Met with all the girlfriend's schools and after that, just no time for anything really. Went to Legal Sea Food for dinner a couple times since it was right part of the sheraton. I was in the one that was part of the Prudential Building. Weather Saturday was crappy and just had all that crap to do with schools. Gotta admit, I liked it better than Chicago. Just was cleaner, people were nicer. Although, the driver's around downtown were awful. I could see how one would do without a car in that area.

you need to take a class that isnt to bad, you pass that class, you give 3 reasons for why you want to carry, and you need to have a perfectly clean record then it is all up to the cheif in the town you live in.
weird, but thats how it works.
im realy hoping to get mine so i can finally carry
