so i took the day off yesterday to go catch teh NASCAR race in dover. making great time on 1 i see an 07 zo6 coming up in my rear view. we cruised threw traffic a little while til some kid in daddys amg benz came along. we got tired of him i saw a puff of smoke and the zo6 was all of the sudden gone. i was going 120mph and he was pulling so hard it wasnt even funny. i read all the number and how great they are but to see it 1st hand was cool. just throwing my little experience out there, anyone else get into it with a 505hp vette yet??

Yup they are sick.

On the street I don't think you will find any NA 346 that can keep up with one. Maybe a few sick setups over 475rwhp but over all thay are tough to beat.

One of those would crush me from a roll, things trap like 123mph stock.

What used to be a motor that few could own is now mass produced so now you get to see races like this, same with the 03/04 CObra's, a forged, 4valve, blown motor making sick power.

Well, it's not only the power the C6 Z06's make, but also their decreased weight, even over the C5 Z06, plus the revised gear ratios in the trans, as well as their great drag coefficient of friction that make them deadly on the street especially from a roll.

You put the same power in an f-body and you'd still be chasing them.

I would of loved to see the look on the guys face.

except in the rare instances they face Purevil, I think the z06 will have the upper hand on the street. Not to many car's can keep up with the top end.

Heck thow a cam in a new z06 and go chase some Jixxer's.

yeah guys to see chevy's ls7 at work was fun. i just wish i was in a jet so i could have kept pace. lighter+more power= *** whuppin! i wasnt even close enough to admire the sound of the exhaust.
