Default pulled over yet again w/o the front plate haha

well for the second time since putting my new grill on about a month ago and taking off the plate, got pulled over for it-this time by a state. had the plate on the dash this time-no good according to him...this time i got a ticket i guess its time to slap that puppy back on the grill.

...i also didnt have my insurance or registratiion in the car (i had taken my owners manual out to help someone program their alarm on the forum and i left it on my desk) so i'll take the $50 ticket.

oouch. what a *****. i live in MO and we are also supposed to have a front plate. but i live about 2 minutes from the line of Arkansas, work in AR, and when ever we do something it's usually down there also. i still have yet to put my front plate on. screw that. it's horrible looking. but i guess when the time comes (getting pulled over for it) i'll most likely wind up putting it on, lol.

yeah i absolutely hate the way it looks...i just cant get myself to put it back on, every since i got a black billet grill and black halos on a black car it just looks so nice, mean and clean i couldnt believe he pulled me over, i passed him on a road, he wasnt even parked somewhere hiding...oh well. at least he was cool about me not having the insurance/registration!

I hate reading these threads, you guys make me so nervous! I can't defile my car with a front plate though. I mostly just drive my car around town, but I pass the same cops every time I take it out. They must know it's a Jersey car by now, they've seen me pull out from school and everything. Think I should bother putting it in my windshield or just leave it completely off?

I have the front plate on my airdam under the car. You can not really see it unless you a quite a ways away. I never get harassed for it though. I have found that if i ghet pulled over for something else such as speeding, they usually let me go with just a no front plate ticket, so i do not mind so much. I just changed my plate to "NOTVALID" so next time i get a ticket thats what he has to write down for my plate number

I took my front plate off about a year ago at hte summer nats and havent put it back yet. Seems like the staties i pass on the highway are more interested in pulling over subies and hondas lately.

x3 for mounting it to the air dam. It's still visible from the front of the car.

It's visible enough. I used to live on Long Island. I don't miss it.

Front plate is the biggest bullshit ticket ever. I live in Arrestafield,VA and the cops here are complete dicks. I got a ticket the other day for no front plate and improper window tint while pumping gas in my car. I just prepaid the tickets so i didnt have to worry about going to court. Cost me $118 for both. I might try putting the plate on the lower valence.

you got a ticket while in a gas station LOL... no way I would have paid that. You weren't even moving.... that's like getting a ticket for a car you have sitting in your driveway that has no exhaust on it!

I went by a road block they had set up when going to the track with no front plate and they waved me on. I think they were just checking for even more menial things like seatbelts and cell phones (probably registration/inspection too).
