Definitely better. Alot smoother and more power.Lift's 1st,2nd and 3rd under power now.Got to be carefull riding hard.

Night/Day over a 600. I was riding Joe's bike hard and it had no intensions of spinning the rear tire in the corners at WOT.My bike would of thrown me off.

No reason to go down in the front, bike pulls hard enough already with my fat *** hanging over the windscreen.

Sounds like fun... I had my bike out today! It's almost like a new bike with the -1 tooth up front! Holds the power a little better but still sucks for low-end torque! I need a new literbike!

I have an 02 R1 and 04 GSXR 1K, I recently went -1 on the R1...hated it, I couldn't keep the bike down, switched it back to stock yesterday.

makes me wonder why people would even change it. a 1000 cc bike is plenty fast, i think they just want to pull the wheel more often with less effort.

just add more power.

also 100mph in first gear is retarded and for $40 it can put a big smile on your face.
