No Front Plate in NJ Petition. Just heard about this tonight, so I did a quick search and found this. I don't know if this site is even going to do anything but just take 30 seconds and "sign" it.

I refuse to put front plates on my cars. I was stopped at a check point a few weeks ago in my GTO. The guy asked if I was in the military and I said yes. He said the reason he asked if because I don't have a front plate, and that I was okay to go. Don't know if he was just pro-military, or if I'm not required to have one. Probably the former.

online petitions don't mean anything to politicians. call or mail your representitives offices DIRECTLY if you want to get action. on warning, be prepared to back up your position with better information than the typical "front plates are stupid" because most politicians are too and they don't care what your car looks like with a front plate.

Ive never had a front plate on any of my cars. I refuse. It looks awful, its impractical and does absolutley nothing for law enforcement. It is just another way to make $50 and its absurd. I havent gotten pulled over for no front plate in over a year though now.
when i put my new grill on i got pulled over for it 3 times in a month. ticketed the last time...nonsense
