This seems to pop up every few months on here. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like there is any chance of this happening. From what I remember Consumer Reports owns the property and has a test facility there. |
this was actually on ch 3 news last night about trying to bring back the track, and this petition was mentioned, keep signing away, it cant hurt. |
im 7130 ;D |

maybe they would get the freakin hint! |
It takes money, not signatures, to open a track. The new track (road course) in Palmer MA will be opening next season or the season after. Everything has gone through with the town and the land owners. There wasn't a single petition or signature, just a ton of money and a few meetings. |
from what I know consumer report still owns it, I was there last summer and they were out testing a new wrx |

State of Connecticut owns it, the State Police use it for high pursuit training. They had just repaved it like 5 years ago or something like that. But yes the poll seems to indeed pop up every few months doesnt it LOL |

Yes, the petition on-line isn't going to do anything. I think that petition has been around for years - maybe 7 or 8 years? I remember signing it back in 2001 or 2002. |
Awesome a road course in Palmer MA. I have never done any road course racing but it looks fun. They have days sometimes when streetcars can go out and play for fun at most tracks dont they? |
