Default *Sneak Peek* TTP's New 4130 Chromemoly SFCs

We wanted to create a new lightweight subframe connector for the f-body cars. We went for 1.625 x .083 4130 chromemoly round tubing and 3/16" oil hardened steel plates at the ends. This creates a very rigid mounting surface with the lightweight 4130 tubing. This is our first prototype set being tacked in to a customer's car. Oh and just so anyone asks that is our new Candy Apple Red powder coat.

Weight: We are finalizing the design right now should have some weights for you by tomorrow if not Thursday.

I am looking to price these around the $150 range. Trying to go with 4130 material and keep it as cost effective as other's mild steel pricing.

That is basically the same design as the Global West SFC's I have. The GW's do have a slight bend at one side though. They tuck right in and you can't even see em'. Except for the LCA hole you got it's similar.

Sounds good Danno. All SFCs are going to be somewhat alike, the one thing that sets mine apart is no additional expense for 4130...

Yeah your's look great especially for the price. I think back in the day I paid a little more for mine and they were not Chromemolly. They look good.

any idea when your lca's are coming out? Also any plans for a torque arm that would work with the flowmaster merge?

I will have final weight today. We have a bunch of SFCs made now. We just have to reinvestigate the P/C oven issues we've had and get that squared away. I'm as excited as you all are to get the suspension lines moving but I don't want to sacrifice quality just to get them out fast. My time lines are always off

LCA's, PHR, TQ Arm are all planned within the next month. First is the LCAs/PHR hopefully within 2 weeks.
