Default Anyone at Englishtown 3/21/08

I was at englishtown tonite didnt see to many f bodys but there was a few fast vettes I was there in my beater 88 mustang ended up running a 13.5 @ 99 missing 3rd bogged to a 1.85 60 ft I dumped it at 5k next time ill go higher the other 2 runs were junk as the 2nd run I tryed slipping the clutch and it bogged hard to a 1.9 and the last run I tryed a straight dump at 6.5k and it didnt hold at all. All in all it was fun running my beater 5.o I believe the car has a leaky head gasket which I knew and the valvesprings I think are shot but I have another motor that I plan on putting in eventually thats going to be pretty similar to this one with the addition of a cam and valvesprings and hopefully the motor I picked doesnt have a busted head gasket haha.

I was there in my bone-stock, fully loaded, Monterey Red Metallic 2006 C6 with the A6 and Z51 suspension. I ran twice and didn't do that well, but it was nice to see that race weight (with me in it) at 3,418 lbs with a less less than half tank of gas. Were we running against the wind?

Not too good. Got two runs. The best run was a 13.465@107.50 with a 2.164 60 foot time. Even if my launches were a lot better, there's no way I could have hit 12's and that's what I was expecting.

Thats not a bad mph if you get that 60ft down alittle bit it will probably go 12's.
