Also, a manual tranny is high on my priority list, so that is another reason to count out the Dodges and the G8 for now. The G35 coupe just hits a lot of points for me, and the overall styling and they are also pretty fun, having 298hp, 6-spd manual tranny, and LSD rear.
Makes sense. If leasing is your thing I know the 335I leases well.

Any interest in a GTO?

Nah I'm not a big fan of leasing. I did look into some of the options listed, and GTOs and CTS-Vs were high on the list as both can be found in the mid-20K range now (and of course trying to stick with LSX and T56), but I just don't fit right in a GTO for some reason. Its a decent sized car, but just couldn't get comfortable in it (6'-4" head was up against the roof unless slouching a lot). Both cars are just a little too heavy and I wanted something a bit more nimble.

On a side note, I did see a vid of a G8 running 13.0 or 13.1 or something at like 107mph. That was def impressive! Too bad its only automatic for now though. I can't wait to see how well they respond to mods!

FWIW I sold my 98 z28 and 2001 expedition for my g35x as I bought a house and had a driveway but no garage (for right now) for the camaro. I do like the g35x but I miss my camaro something awful. It depends though if you want to have two cars sucking down gas and having two insurance payments or just one car to deal with. When I had my camaro I also had the 2001 Expedition as well so Id have a winter car and it was fun having two cars but insurance wasnt cheap so I sold both and got the infinity. Good cars but no where near the same planet fun wise/performance wise as an ls1 powered vehicle.

This just in.....
The person who would do such a trade also listens to Melissa Ethridge, Jon Bon Jovi's greatest hits while painting his toe nails a light shade of lavender. This does explain some of the thought process behind this exchange.

It's looking like I'll get back to the track in 09, if my date with the desert doesn't happen before then.

honestly the g35 is a really nice car but i wouldn't trade in two vehicles to get it. Maybe you could sell both your cars and then buy the g35 if you really want it that badly, you would definately make more money by selling your cars even though it may take a while

What trade in is he getting... i'll save the car and give him 500 more cash right after i sell my WS6.

Thats the most foolish thing ever, the G35 will be WORTHLESS in 3 years like every other new car.

Edit: I forgot to mention the G35 is also ****** hideous. All done.

If I were to get a GTO it would be 6-spd and LS2. A guy I know is selling a 2006 Spice Red with factory 18's on it.
