1999 Camaro Z28 – D1SC Procharged Forged 383 – T56 Magnum – Dana S60 – 550whp – Documentation – Ravenna, MI – $24,500

Considering selling my 1999 Camaro Z28. This is a professionally built and documented street/strip car with receipts, dyno sheets, and work completed by reputable shops. Not a mystery build and not a garage science project.

Vehicle:

• 110,000 miles on chassis
• 1,500 miles on fresh engine rebuild/refresh
• Black exterior / Tan interior
• Clean title
• Power steering and A/C fully functional
• Paint/body in very good condition

Engine / Drivetrain:

• Forged stroked 383 LS build
• D1SC Procharger @8 psi
• 550whp / 560 lb-ft
• Comp Cam
• 60 lb injectors
• Headers
• T56 Magnum 6-speed
• McLeod twin-disc clutch
• Dana S60 rear end
• 3.50 gears
• QA1 12-way adjustable suspension
• Subframe connectors

Included:

• Dyno sheets
• Build receipts
• Documentation from Baker Engineering (Nunica, MI) and Steve Morris Engines
• Additional C5 Corvette wheel set with 305/35/18 tires all around

Located in Ravenna, Michigan

Not in a rush to sell. I’m 63 now and life has shifted more toward family trips, RV towing, and different hobbies. I still enjoy the car and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, but getting in and out of a lowered F-body isn’t getting any easier. I’ve owned 20 years and would like to see it go to someone who’ll appreciate a documented, professionally built car.

READ FIRST: Some variance between injectors, NOT flow matched.
These are rated from FIC (Fuel Injector Connection) 60lb 650cc at 3-bar (43.5 psi.) Measured flow between 66 lbs. to 72 lbs. flow at 4-bar (58 psi). Cleaned and Flow Tested with new O-rings. Test Data included. Have not been installed since being cleaned last month.

This is a used set of Injectors that came off a Ls3 C6 corvette with an ECS supercharger kit. They were upgraded to larger injectors while doing other upgrades. They were sitting wrapped up for awhile so I had them sent out to be cleaned and flowed.

When they came back from being cleaned/flowed, the data showed a variance in the flow rates. One was higher than the others average, a couple at a hair lower. They are numbered for identification. This is probably ok for many applications as most people put the largest flowing injector on cylinder #7. Definitely better than running stock truck decapped injectors.

I decided against using these on my heads/cam LS7 and bought different injectors for my engine.

These are EV14 short height injectors used on LS3, LS7 LSA and LS9. Have EV6 type plugs. Not tall or EV1 like the LS1 or LS2.

Flow Numbers at 4-bar 58 psi.

Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Set 9-3158A is for 3-bolt, 24X GM LS engines. LS1, LS6, early-LS2. 5.3, 6.0, LM7, LQ4 etc. This is a 1X cam gear.

This timing set was taken out of the box and checked for fitment on the cam in the block. It fits perfectly, but I needed a 4X cam gear so was not able to use this set. It is brand NEW. It was wrapped up and sitting on the shelf since.

This will bolt to any LSx engine with a 3-bolt camshaft. It will only work with Gen 3 electronics and very early gen 4. Will work with P01, P59, 0411, Red/Green, Green/Blue PCMs as well as E40. Will also work with Holley or Haltech. It will NOT work with 06-up E38 or E67 ECMs (aka LS3 type).

It has a Hex-adjust for the cam gear and also 3 position adjustability at the crank gear. Billet steel gears. Has a Torrington bearing for smooth operation.

I'm testing the waters to see if there is any interest in my car. I built this car to be a fun, fast family cruiser. I've gotten a ton of enjoyment out of it and enjoyed building it. The car is fully sorted out and is turn key ready to go anywhere. I'm to the point where I'd like to build a garage so that I can have a place to do a full on restoration.

The car is very clean underneath and has had all rusted metal removed, replaced with new metal, sealed and painted. The motor is an all aluminum 5.3 with a small cam, Holley lo ram intake with a tick air to water intercooler. Billet wheel 7875 turbo and backed by a 4l80e with hd2 shift kit and FTI converter made to work with the turbo. Efi is controlled by a Terminator X Max ECU and Rear is a Quick Performance 9" with a Speedway third member, helical posi, 35 spline axles and 3.25 gears.

Full tubular control arms, CPP c5 drop spindles with 13" front brakes, ls1 12" rear disk brakes, and Tesla model S iBooster master cylinder. Drop springs front and rear for what I think is the perfect ride height.

Right now the car is set up to run around 7-8 psi and should make around 450 rwhp. The rings were gapped for higher boost and everything is set up to support it.

I have tons of extra parts that I'll let go as well such as the vintage air unit, extra Nomad parts and other misc. parts. The car is not perfect and that was my intention. The roof does have rust in the rear which is very common for Nomads, but I do have a rust free roof section to repair. It gets attention everywhere you go and will surprise people at red lights.

I'll post a few pictures if you aren't familiar with my car, but I've documented my full story here:
