new car = trans am getting finished!
So I just picked up a new car. I purchased a 2009 Honda Fit Sport Auto in Storm Silver Metallic (pretty cool color). It isn't fast by any stretch of the imagination, but it does average 33mpg. It has a ton of space, easy to drive, has paddle shifters if you want to be a ricer and kick in some VTEC y0. I like the fact that I don't mind my girlfriend driving it if I don't feel like driving or sporting her Aveo (hate that ******* thing). And before you bash me...I work at Honda, I got a deal, and they keep their value...used ones with 50k miles are still selling close to MSRP.
Anyways- now the Trans Am can stay parked while I work on it and not have to do one thing really quick and then have to wait to do something else on it. Now I can take my time and finish the last few projects I have for it. The plans I have for it over the next few months are:

- -PAINT- it's getting painted no matter what. Color is Lamborghini Grigio Telesto from the Gallardo Superlegerra. Getting the full CETA treatment as well-black b-pillar, mirrors, and rear valance.
- -Finish the small things on the interior....the complete LED lighting, dynamating the hatch area, fixing some of the interior panels, and maybe putting some nice dark black SEM paint on them. Also going to paint some of the trim pieces same color as the new exterior color.
- -Finish the Fuel rail covers and intake lid. My dad has done most of the work on these filling the Corvette letters in and smoothing it out. Painting these the same purple as my calipers.
- -Fixing the foglights as I've had horrible luck with aftermarket housings-when I bought the car the stock ones were melted.
- -I may have a customized front bumper in store to go with the new paint.
- -And adding things like new floormats, new shiftboot/arm rest cover, and e-brake boot.
- Been looking into a turbo setup but that is after I graduate, I already have everything to do all this (stuff listed above)!

Yea they really are the perfect DD. Back seats fold all the way down and give you a crapload of room.
I forgot to mention I need to replace the pinion seal too, but I'm going to pay one of my friends to do that for me, I hate diff fluid.
