Thumbs up Think it's a good deal?

My car:

1995 Z28 Hardtop
A4
140k but runs like brand new
Red with Black top (paint 1 year old, looks brand new!)
Tan cloth interior
Magnaflow catback
Cat delete
160 thermo
brand new opti and radiator hoses
2 10" Bazzoka subs in ported and custom stitched box/amp built right into it
Sony Xplode deck with iPod hookup cable
tinted windows
brand new oil pump

Considering trading for:

1995 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. cab 4x4 it has 170,000 miles
Lifted 7 inches
35 BFG All Terrain.
I have aftermarket taillights and headlights.
Fog light
After market Cluster panel
CD player
I have a ARE cap on it
Just had it painted as well. (hugger orange)

Taking my stereo out of the car and putting it in the truck, let me know what you think!

I would stick w/ the Z once you get ride of it you will just want another one.Stick w/ 1 car for a little while unless you can get a LS-1 car.

There are a lot of good deal's on here on LS-1 car's and i think once you get 1 you will stay w/ it for a while. You act like me w/ car's you get bored of the same car pretty fast.I have had 29 f-body's and how many other car's & truck & Motorcycle's is too hard to count.I think i have ADCD (Attention Deficit Car Disorder).

Had a '96 dodge ram w/ a 5.2L. Sold it with 220,000 miles on the clock. Only had to change waterpump twice. Didn't get/need a tranny rebuild until 198,000 miles. It's all in how you take care of your car.

jus a quick question that is totally irrelevant, why did you sell you SS LE over your Z28?

1st off, it wasn't an LE, or I might of thought about keeping it .

Still had payments on the SS and got married/bought and moved into a house. Wife got a new job that was 45 miles away (state attorney) and has a 2005 ford explorer that has bad mileage (but was paid for). All this while gas was $4+ a gallon. Also, I am going to law school here soon. So, add that all together and I needed to cut where I could cut. 12mpg, car payment, and full coverage was getting expensive, so SS needed to go. Found a buyer and got her sold. A month later and I'mn still looking for a deal on a nice DD. Wife was told that she'd be out at that office for 6 months to a year before being transferred to the local office. Well, she was transfered within a month, which means mileage wasn't AS important. On a Sunday night I'm reading through craigslist/ls1tech and find this '98 for a great deal in Jax (2 hours away), which was posted earlier that afternoon. 2 hours later I'm in Jax and make a deal on the car. Monday morning I go back with cash and drive home in the Z28. PM me if you want to know prices for selling and buying, then you'll understand why I did it!

I'll have time to play around with this car once I'm out of law school.

My dad and uncle both had Jeeps with trannies that went out right at 100k.

I've seen multiple Dodge trucks at the shops I've worked at with pretty much fucked rear ends.

Know a guy with a Hemi that threw a rod.

Transmissions are not exactly Chrysler's strong point.

that's what I've always heard about the Dodge's - I have too many cars right now, but if I were to find someone to trade me a truck for my 94 I'd probably be all over it - so basically, I'm no help, sorry

if it didn't have the lift I would trade, but with it having the lift I would keep your car as the trucks tranny is ****, and will most likely die or need a rebuild in a bit. I have a 98 dodge ram and it is a money pit.
