OK, Thats what I thought it was. Ya I dont do that, 1 dont have time, in my case, cause I will fall out of power band and loose momentum and 2. I have tried it before and have run as much as a second slower. My solution to that is simple, get a better clutch.

I went to the track just to watch , and to talk to Tony from HP performance and he stuck his laptop on it . he found the timing was to high 29 degrees. So its pulling all the timing when its on the bottle. I will be getting a re tune this weekend or next

got the car Tuned today by tony at HP performance. Dam good job . The mail order tune was way way lean . It made 218 hp and 298 tq . No wonder it was slow. The new tune was good for 326 hp and 354 tq not bad for just a cat back. It made 419 hp and 463 tq on the juice. I would say the car will run better at the track now.

I was about to ask did you forget to open the bottle lol but that tune would explain those stock looking 101-104 trap speeds. Nothing like making 295hp with a 75 shot.

Well i had tony at HP performance to tune it 2 weeks ago. We made 326 hp and 354 tq ,and on the bottle it went 427hp and 463 tq. I went to the track the next Wednesday it went 13.2 at 112 with the clutch slipping hard in third and forth gear at 3500 to redline.

swap wheels with someone at the track for a few runs. Less rim, more tire obviously helps. Also, how is your shifting? Are you very familiar with driving a manual at the track?
Storytime :
I've driven a manual all my life and went to the track once with a friend that just got his first. He kept running low to mid 14's and was all upset about it. I kept telling him he's not shifting fast enough (I could hear the pause in the shift as he went down the track). I bugged him to let me run in his car to show him its not the car... ran a 13.6 and screwed him out of running again that night till he found a helmet to borrow. haha...
