LS1TECH - Camaro and Firebird Forum Discussion - New guy from Clearwater/St.Pete

What's up all?

I've been cruising the forums for a few months now, reading up on the F-bodies and cars in general, and decided to pick myself up a Trans Am. I figured I'd finally introduce myself once I got one.

My name is Travis, and I live in the Clearwater/St.Pete area. I bought a 2001 TA WS6 with 75k on her last night, and drove her home from Orlando. Aside from a few bumps and bruises, she's beautiful, and runs like a dream. I don't have a whole lot of money to go around, so mods will be slow, but new wheels/suspension/exhaust/cam are on the list, if not a few other things. She's pretty much bone stock right now (previous owner decided a short throw shifter was in order but not an air lid).

Anyway, you guys seem like a great bunch around here, very informative, and I hope to possibly meet some of you all down the road.
