Default FML Just blew my clutch.....

Drove home half asleep...meaning nothing cool was happening.

Pull into my drive way make half a u-turn so I can drive straight out in the AM. I attempt to put it into reverse and it wont budge, I thing strange so I try 1st then the rest...Wouldn't go into ANY gear. Shut the car off, goes into every gear easily.

So, I start it in gear with my foot on the clutch...Yup makes all kindsa noises....

FML.

Atleast I got it home then it felt like giving up. haha

Any suggestions on where to buy the LS7 kit affordably?

Ok, I'll have to check my finances. What was your special?

Could you just sell me the clutch kit? If so what your pricing on a standard stage 3?

We were charging $300 for install which is dirt cheap IMO...

We can certainly source a kit for you- what did you have in mind? What power level are you pushing?

That is pretty good, but my trans is already out of the car.

I was going to do a stage 3, I've got full suspension, full exhaust, 4.10s, and a lid, radials are next on thr list.

Good price. Sounds like he may have had the throwout bearing/slave fail....either way it's a good time to replace it all.

I'm like 99% certain that the pressure plate had been weak ever since I bought the car, and that is what finally felt like freezing up that night. Strange thing was the next day when I went to move it, I started it in gear with my foot on the clutch. It was making noise, and lurched forward on the initial crank. Eversince I let the clutch out the first time it never gave me a problem? I didn't trust it and pulled it all apart anyways.

Ever since I had it, if I REALLY romped on it you could smell clutch. I had worked my way through all the hydraulics and all that was left was the clutch. (Couldn't afford the clutch while I did the slave). The slave had maybe 2000 miles on in, and when I did it I also removed the factory line and replaced it with a standard steel braided line.

The clutch itself look ok, but the pressure plate and flywheel had heatspots so bad you can FEEL the high/low spots.

Waiting to hear back from my supplier on a clutch for you...

Where do you live? We offer pick up and drop off if the vehicle is not running. Totally your call, but if you've never done a clutch before, you need to know what you're gettin into we can get ya rolling at a great price.

Let me know.
